South West Water Limited is seeking a Mechanical Craftsperson to maintain and repair water treatment assets, pumping stations, and reservoirs for reliable community service. The role involves hands-on problem solving, safety compliance, and standby duties.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline.
• Good understanding of RAMS to deliver a safe maintenance regime.
• Experience with Waste Water treatment processes is desirable.
• Ability to fault find and repair large, complex mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Manufacture and fabricate parts and equipment.
• Provide detailed specifications for replacement parts.
• Assist operational teams with complex problem-solving.
• Ensure safety compliance using method statements and RAMS.
• Participate in standby/call-out rota.
