Job summary

Proactive Global is assisting a well-established building services contractor in Oxfordshire, London and surroundings to source experienced Mechanical Project Managers / Contracts Managers.

You will deliver mechanical building services projects from pre-construction to handover, coordinating site teams, budgets and client relations on a varied portfolio spanning commercial, education, healthcare and high-end residential sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management / Contracts Management experience within mechanical building services.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, heating, plumbing, ventilation and associated mechanical systems.
• Experience delivering commercial mechanical projects.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Confidence managing clients, contractors and project teams.
• The ability to take ownership of projects and make decisions.
• HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering advantageous.
• SMSTS and CSCS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical building services projects from award through to completion
• Managing programme, budget, quality and overall project delivery
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Working closely with commercial and design teams

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information

We are working on behalf of a highly established building services contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality, technically challenging projects across Oxfordshire, London and the surrounding areas.

We are looking to speak with experienced Mechanical Project Managers / Contracts Managers from a strong mechanical building services background.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established business delivering a varied portfolio of projects across commercial, education, healthcare, pharmaceutical, high-end residential and specialist environments.

The role

You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

• Managing mechanical building services projects from award through to completion
• Managing programme, budget, quality and overall project delivery
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Working closely with commercial and design teams
• Managing costs, variations and project performance
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
• Managing client and consultant relationships
