Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of mechanical works in Oxfordshire, London and surrounding areas. You will manage direct labour and subcontractors, oversee heating and plumbing installations, and work from drawings and project programmes to drive quality and progress.

Qualifications

• Previous Mechanical Site Manager / Mechanical Supervisor experience.
• Strong heating and plumbing background.
• Good technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Experience on commercial and/or high-end residential projects.
• Strong practical understanding of mechanical installations.
• CSCS
• SMSTS or SSSTS advantageous
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent within Plumbing & Heating / Mechanical Services advantageous
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day delivery of mechanical works on site.
• Managing and coordinating direct labour and subcontractors.
• Overseeing heating, plumbing and mechanical installations.
• Working from drawings, specifications and project programmes.
• Monitoring programme, progress and quality.
• Planning labour, materials and plant requirements.
• Liaising with clients, main contractors and internal project teams.
• Identifying and resolving technical and site issues.
• Managing health & safety and RAMS.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and handover.
• Maintaining accurate site records and progress reports.

We are working on behalf of a highly established building services contractor delivering technically interesting mechanical projects across Oxfordshire, London and surrounding areas.

We are looking to speak with experienced Mechanical Site Managers / Mechanical Supervisors with a strong background in heating, plumbing and mechanical building services.

This is a hands-on site management role suited to someone who understands mechanical installations, can confidently manage people and subcontractors and takes ownership of delivering work to a high standard.
