Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited invites applications for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to design and deliver mechanical building-services for infrastructure projects, including MOJ facilities and prisons.

You will contribute to heat, ventilation, cooling, water services and energy-efficient refurbishments, while coordinating with electrical and structural teams and maintaining CDM risk controls.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing mechanical building-services systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, heating, ventilation, cooling, water and drainage systems.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Support projects from survey to handover and construction.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Progress work against budget, quality and timeline objectives.
