Advanced Engineering in Luton, Bedfordshire, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter/Assembly Technician to join the workshop team on a double-day shift pattern. You will assemble and disassemble units from engineering drawings, using components and sub-assemblies, with strict tolerance requirements and safe operation of air-powered and electric tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Fitter/Assembly Technician.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong manual dexterity and use of measuring equipment.
• Comfortable working to high tolerances and safety with air-powered and electric tools.
• Ability to produce reports including strip inspection and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble units from drawings using components and sub-assemblies.
