Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our site team. You will conduct inspections, complete reports and work with colleagues to ensure high standards of service.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance, strong mechanical knowledge, and a full UK driving licence. Familiarity with diagnostics and hybrid/electric systems is a plus, with regular travel to BCA sites within the region.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous).
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• A full UK driving licence.

• Complete used vehicle condition reports
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery
• Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

£13.99 per hour (£30,917.90k annually) plus bonus (OTE around £35k)

Hours - 8.15am-5.45pm Wednesday to Sunday OR Saturday to Wednesday
