Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, repairing (including racing damage), servicing, and fabricating various off-road and track competition vehicles.
The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills. Competency in electrical system repair and build, light fabrication, and experience with fiberglass repairs are essential. Welding and machining skills are preferred but not mandatory.
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and freelance.
This position can be offered part-time, making it suitable for qualified mechanics seeking a career change or skilled car builders interested in part-time work during retirement. A clean UK driving license is required, as road testing and off-site testing will be part of the job.
