Job summary

A transportation service provider in Tandridge is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join their modern workshop on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and inspecting vehicles while ensuring compliance with company procedures and maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness. Qualifications

• Experience in MOT testing is highly advantageous.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Full UK driving Licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the servicing, repair and inspection of customer and Company vehicles.
• Comply with Warranty Procedures as laid down in the Service Procedure Manual.
• Ensure customers’ vehicles are kept secure and clean at all times.

• To support and implement the Company’s Quality System and carry out the responsibilities documented in the relevant procedure manuals.
• To maintain a neat personal appearance.
• Other duties as required

Duties Include (not limited to):

• To carry out the servicing, repair and inspection of customer and Company vehicles as instructed.
• To operate according to technical literature and the Service Procedure Manual where necessary, as well as using skill and experience.
• To comply with Warranty Procedures as laid down in the Service Procedure Manual.
• To ensure customers’ vehicles are kept secure and clean at all times.
• To support and implement the Company’s Quality System and carry out the responsibilities documented in the relevant procedure manuals.
• To maintain a neat personal appearance.
• Other duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience in MOT testing is highly advantageous.

Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Full UK driving Licence is preferred.

Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.

Be able to adhere to all health and safety.
