Job summary

Vertu Ford Newcastle is seeking a Vehicle Technician to deliver high-quality workmanship and first-time fixes within a customer-focused environment.

We offer a basic salary up to £45,800 depending on skills and experience, based on a 40-hour week with an over-performance bonus opportunity. Roles across all levels with progression and extensive manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Your own set of tools.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality workmanship and aim for first-time fixes.
• Support customers with vehicle services and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Adhere to safety and compliance guidelines.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

We're looking for technicians across all levels and packages on offer are dependent upon experience and qualifications however, you can expect packages such as:

• Service and Maintenance Technician salaries from £28,840 up to £36,200
• Service and Diagnostic Technician salaries from £30,000 up to £38,600
• Senior Technician salaries from £32,000 up to £41,000
• Master Technician salaries from £36,000 to £45,800

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT license preferred but not essential
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
