Job summary

Reverie Autocare Ltd is seeking a motivated Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. You’ll inspect, service, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability and first-time-right workmanship.

If you enjoy hands-on work, solving fault-finding challenges and taking pride in quality workmanship, we’d love to hear from you. Requirements include NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a full UK driving licence, and own tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Solid mechanical knowledge across a range of makes and models.
• Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own tools (Heavy Machinery provided).
• A good standard of customer service and communication.
• Physical stamina for active, hands-on work.
• Experience with air conditioning, EV/hybrid systems or ECU diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, using technical data and wiring diagrams.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately using diagnostic equipment.
• Replace and repair components including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, exhausts and more.
• Complete vehicle health checks and record findings clearly on job cards.
• Work safely with hand tools, power tools, ramps and lifting equipment.
• Keep customers informed by passing clear updates on repair status and any additional work to the service team.
• Help keep the workshop clean, safe and well organised.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:30, plus alternate Saturdays

Salary: [£32,000 - £38,000 basic, depending on experience and qualifications]
