TipTopJob in Birmingham is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established company. The role carries out preventative and reactive maintenance on steam-operated laundry equipment; the plant is largely PLC-driven, with motors, relays, switches and conveyors.

Salary £32,000–£36,000 per year plus overtime and a company pension, with training and development opportunities. Hours are Monday to Friday 07:30–16:00, with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience with industrial machinery.
• Experience in preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to work on PLC-driven laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and preventive maintenance on steam operated laundry equipment.
• Work with PLC-driven machinery, motors, relays, switches and conveyors.
• Assist with building problems when required.
