Luton Bennett is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a Basingstoke-based facility operating brand new equipment. The role focuses on both reactive and preventative maintenance on steam-operated laundry machinery, with a strong emphasis on PLC-driven controls.

The successful candidate will be multi-skilled (mechanical or electrical bias), join a small team, and benefit from ongoing training and development. Regular overtime opportunities exist as part of the days-based shift pattern.

Maintenance Engineer Basingstoke £41,000 Base Salary + Overtime (OTE £50,000 - 1.5x Monday - Saturday AM, 2x Saturday PM and Sunday, 5 – 10 Average Hours Available per Week) + Company Pension + Training and Development Rotating Day Shift (6am, 8am and 9am Start – 8.5 Hours per Day) Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established and highly successful processing facility, working on brand new equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leading company offering a days-based role with regular overtime available each week for candidates looking to boost their earnings. Candidates will hold maintenance experience in any industry and be multi skilled with either a mechanical or electrical bias. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be joining a small team responsible for carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance on steam operated laundry equipment. The equipment is largely PLC driven and you will also work with motors, relays, switches, conveyors etc. You will predominantly be working on machinery and plant equipment and will also oversee building problems when required.
