Job summary

Luton Bennett in Birmingham is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, days-based role. You will join a small team responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance on steam-operated laundry equipment.

The role involves PLC-driven machinery, motors, relays, switches and conveyors, with training and development available and flexible daytime hours. Overtime Saturday mornings and other shifts are available, with a generous pension.

Qualifications

• Mechanical bias with maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLC driven laundry equipment.
• Overtime available and flexible days.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Laundry machinery upkeep and PLC driven systems.
• Work with motors, relays, switches and conveyors.
• Assist with building issues as needed.
• Join a small maintenance team.
