Job summary

ABP Food Group at the Bridge of Allan site is seeking motivated Meat Trimmers to join the Boning Hall Team in a fast-paced production setting. This permanent, full-time role offers training and development opportunities within a leading UK food producer.

The successful candidate will trim beef to spec, maintain high quality standards, and support daily production targets. A positive attitude and reliability are essential, with full training provided to build knife skills and career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous knife skills or meat trimming experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Trimming and preparing meat products to specification using knives.
• Removing excess fat, gristle and bone where required.
• Ensuring products meet customer quality standards.
• Maximising product yield and minimising waste.
• Working safely and effectively in a chilled production environment.
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area at all times.
• Supporting the production team in achieving daily and weekly targets.
• Following all company food safety, health & safety and hygiene procedures.

Due to continued growth and development at our Bridge of Allan site, we are looking for motivated Trimmers to join our Boning Hall Team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-paced production environment, supplying high-quality products to some of the UK's leading retailers and food service customers.

As a Meat Trimmer, you will be responsible for preparing and trimming beef products to customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and yield.

Key responsibilities include:

Trimming and preparing meat products to specification using knives

Removing excess fat, gristle and bone where required

Ensuring products meet customer quality standards

Maximising product yield and minimising waste

Working safely and effectively in a chilled production environment

Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area at all times

Supporting the production team in achieving daily and weekly targets

What We're Looking For:
