Job summary

JobsTrackR in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Food Production Operative to join our meat processing team. You will work on the production line preparing raw meat products and assisting with ingredients, packing and labelling while maintaining hygiene standards.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00 or 16:00–01:00. Pay is £12.91 per hour with overtime at £19.37 after 45 hours. You must be able to lift up to 20 kg and be comfortable working in cold environments, with a strong team ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry, especially with raw meat is preferred.
• Comfortable working in cold conditions for long shifts.
• Physically fit to lift up to 20 kg.
• Flexible with shifts as duties may vary by department.
• Teamwork-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Working on the production line, preparing raw meat products such as chicken, pork, beef and lamb.
• Adding ingredients, packing and labelling products.
• De-boxing meat primals onto tables and de-bagging primals into trays.
• Lifting boxes from pallets to the de-boxing area (up to 20kg).
• Disposing of empty boxes and bags into skips and collecting clean trays from the tray wash area.
• Handling heavy lifting tasks and rotating tasks with the team.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety and collaborating in a team.
