Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking a Meat Intake Operative to join our warehouse and supply chain team in the UK. You will help ensure the factory receives the right meat supplies at the right time, maintain stock records and support safe, efficient movement of goods.

You’ll work with Warehouse Manager and production teams on stock control, traceability and inventory accuracy, with a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or food manufacturing environments.
• Organised and accurate, with attention to stock records and traceability.
• Ability to operate stock management systems and follow FIFO principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock accuracy, traceability and continuous material supply to production.
• Provide meat requirements to production teams aligned with demand and schedules.
• Maintain accurate stock records and rotate stock using FIFO methods.
• Unload deliveries safely and verify products against quality standards.
• Apply traceability data and complete intake documentation accurately.
• Maintain species and allergen controls per site requirements.
• Carry out stock checks and support quarterly stock takes.
• Update warehouse systems and SAP records for full stock visibility.
• Maintain GMP, food safety and housekeeping in the intake area.
