GI Group Main Account is seeking a Stock Control Operative (Intake) for a busy meat processing factory in Derby with a start date in November. The role suits someone with stock control, goods-in, or warehouse experience who thrives in a fast-paced food production setting.

Key responsibilities include accurate receipt of deliveries, stock checks, routine counts, and ensuring traceability and compliance with food safety standards. The position offers a stable Monday-Friday pattern and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, goods-in, or warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT and data entry skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Receiving and booking in deliveries accurately.
• Checking incoming stock against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Monitoring stock levels and maintaining inventory records.
• Conducting stock counts and investigating discrepancies.
• Ensuring product traceability and food safety compliance.
• Liaising with production, warehouse and purchasing teams.
• Using stock control systems and completing relevant paperwork.
• Maintaining a clean, organised intake area.
