About Us:

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking planning and architectural consultancy based in Greater London, specialising in planning applications, measured surveys, and development advisory services across the capital and the Home Counties. With a growing portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, we are expanding our technical team and seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Measured Building Surveyor.

Role Overview:

This is a client-facing and site-based role requiring a high level of accuracy and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality measured surveys, including floor plans, elevations, and sections for a wide range of property types. The role involves regular travel across London and the Home Counties, so candidates must be flexible, self-sufficient, and confident navigating both urban and suburban locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out measured building surveys using laser scanners and traditional methods.
• Produce detailed and accurate 2D CAD drawings including floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams and clients to understand project scopes and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
• Organise and manage digital files, drawings, and survey data in line with QA protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years' professional experience in measured building surveying.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to precision and quality.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle is essential.
• Willingness to use public transport where appropriate, particularly within central London.
• Strong time management skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
• Portfolio of recent measured survey work must be submitted with your application.

• Desirable: Understanding of planning drawing standards and UK building typologies.
