Job summary

Automation Experts in North Wales is seeking an MCC / Electrical Design Engineer to lead LV electrical design and MCC development for major water/industrial projects across Wales and the UK. You will work from concept to commissioning, producing schematics and documentation while collaborating with project managers and clients.

This role offers exposure to challenging LV and automation projects, a strong team environment, and long-term career development within a growing electrical engineering

Qualifications

• LV electrical design and MCC design for industrial projects.
• Produce electrical schematics and layouts using CAD tools.
• Experience with BS EN 61439 and BS EN 60947 standards.
• Strong technical problem-solving and project coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design LV electrical systems and MCCs for industrial and water projects.
• Produce electrical schematics, panel layouts and technical documentation.
• Support projects from concept through installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams and clients during delivery.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and specifications.
• Assist with site surveys, compliance activities and technical reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practices.
