Job summary

United Living Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to deliver safe, compliant electrical designs for water and wastewater projects. You will cover LV power distribution, MCCs, ICA interfaces, standby generation, cable routing, lighting and MEICA integration across feasibility to commissioning stages.

You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams to produce SLDs, load schedules, cable sizing, specs and datasheets, ensuring adherence to BS 7671, CDM and BIM Level 2, while driving value and

Qualifications

Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering and BS 7671 knowledge.
Experience designing LV electrical systems and MCCs for water/wastewater assets.
Ability to interpret P&IDs and process drawings.
Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Awareness of CDM and health & safety regimes.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical designs for LV power distribution, MCCs, VSDs, and ICA interfaces.
Prepare SLDs, load schedules, cable sizing, and wiring diagrams.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including MEICA engineers.
Support design reviews, value engineering and commissioning.
