Job summary

Leonardo is recruiting Systems Engineers for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across career levels in the Radar and Electro-Optical (EO) Systems Engineering community. You will apply SE principles across the lifecycle, develop architectures, analyse requirements, and support verification of complex radar and EO systems.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams, using MBSE to improve understanding and decision-making, while developing MBSE expertise and pursuing professional registration

Qualifications

• Experience applying Systems Engineering principles in a complex engineering environment.
• Experience across requirements engineering, architecture development, integration, verification or validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with SysML/UML and MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, EA, Rhapsody or Capella.
• Experience in Radar, EO, sensing, defence, or safety-critical systems.
• Experience planning and delivering engineering work packages with increasing technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Apply Systems Engineering principles across the engineering lifecycle.
• Use MBSE methodologies, frameworks, and tools to support SE activities.
• Develop and maintain system models, architectures, requirements, behaviours, interfaces, and analyses.
• Support design, integration, verification, validation of Radar/EO systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical solutions.
• Lead work packages and mentor engineers at senior levels.
