Job summary

University of Wolverhampton seeks a Phase 2 Lead to drive Years 3–5 of the MBChB delivery, aligning curriculum with GMC requirements and working with the Dean and Head of School. The role includes academic and clinical leadership and collaboration with the contingency Aston Medical School.

The post is a part-time 0.5 FTE, with continued clinical practice and a focus on inclusive, high-quality medical education.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
• Experience of clinical teaching, learning and assessment to medical students and/or resident doctors.
• Open to clinicians from any discipline including general practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, manage and deliver the MBChB programme in accordance with GMC regulations.
• Lead the relevant academic and clinical staff in delivering the programme.
• Coordinate with the contingency school to align curriculum and delivery.
• EnsureTeaching delivery, assessment and student support are consistently provided.
• Contribute to the school leadership team and strategic developments.
