Job summary

The University of Wolverhampton invites applications for a Phase 2 Lead to work on Years 3, 4 and 5 of the MBChB delivery in the UK, in collaboration with the Dean of Medicine and Head of School, to operationalise curriculum delivery and secure PMQ awarding rights from the GMC. This role includes working across the Black Country Medical School and maintaining strong NHS links.

This part-time 0.5 FTE role requires full GMC registration, active clinical practice, and leadership of both academic

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Clinical teaching and assessment experience with medical students or residents.
• Experience in medical education leadership is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, manage and deliver the MBChB programme in line with GMC regulations.
• Lead academic and clinical staff in programme delivery.
• Collaborate with contingency school to align curriculum and delivery.
• Contribute to school leadership and wider strategic plans.
• Create an inclusive, supportive environment promoting equality and wellbeing.
