SetSales is part of United Media, which focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, and more. To date, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one.

The Opportunity

As an MBA Graduate, you will be responsible for running, growing, and managing all aspects of SetSales. Your role includes building and leading a world-class team, and ensuring the successful execution of conferences and the brand strategy.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, high ambition, forward-thinking, and a drive to inspire and lead a team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to scale the company rapidly, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, build, and develop a high-performing team.
  2. Build an ecosystem and deliver outstanding products.
  3. Set clear expectations, establish goals, and provide ongoing detailed feedback and performance evaluations.
  4. Execute the strategy at a rapid pace.
  5. Develop the company’s brand as the go-to place for inspiration, knowledge, and networking.
  6. Oversee planning, execution, and completion of conferences within designated timelines and budgets.
  7. Assign tasks to team members in each department, monitor progress, and ensure project objectives are achieved.
  8. Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients and collaborate with business development teams for new client acquisition.

Requirements
  • Over 4 years’ experience in high-speed, high-ethic environments such as management consulting, investment banking, top-tier corporate roles, or start-ups.
  • Bachelor’s degree with outstanding results, possibly followed by an MBA.
  • Strong commercial awareness and passion for business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid UK, EU, or US work permit.
