Job summary

Novus, the prison education provider, is recruiting a Maths Teacher for HMP Wymott near Leyland. The role is permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, with DBS checks and safeguarding at the core.

You will join a mission-driven team delivering education to inmates and supporting their rehabilitation. The position requires qualified teaching credentials, commitment to ongoing professional development, and the ability to report on learner progress while collaborating with colleagues across the LTE

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification required; commitment to obtain outstanding qualification within 12 months.
• Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Ability to create engaging learning environments and meet quality targets.
• Produce accurate and timely reports.
