Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a welcoming middle school in the Dorchester area. You will primarily teach Mathematics across Years 5–8, with occasional Science cover when required.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, with experience teaching Maths in KS2/KS3 or middle schools, and the ability to adapt to learners of varying ability. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity with ongoing support and development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths within KS2, KS3, or a middle school setting.
• Ability to deliver Mathematics across a range of abilities and cover Science when needed.

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming middle school in the Dorchester area. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and enjoys helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.

The successful candidate will primarily teach Mathematics across Years 5 to 8, with some additional responsibility for covering Science lessons when required. The Role:

• Teach engaging and inspiring Maths lessons to pupils in Years 5-8
• Provide occasional Science cover where required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to confidently deliver Mathematics across a range of abilities
• Some experience or confidence covering Science lessons
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
