Job summary

Exclusive Education are seeking a Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Wigan on a full-time basis. You will take over the class and deliver engaging Maths lessons to a diverse pupil group.

The school welcomes both an ECT and a qualified Maths Teacher, provided you can demonstrate strong behaviour management and adherence to school policies. DBS clearance is preferred or you can apply for a new one.

Qualifications

• Must hold a teaching qualification with QTS.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience working with children.
• Experience teaching Maths.
• DBS up to date or willingness to apply for a new one.

Maths Teacher Required

Salary/Rate: £160 - £230 per day depending on experience

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to work in a secondary school in Wigan. The role will be on a full time basis. They are looking for a Maths Teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching.

The School are looking at taking on either an ECT or a Qualified Maths Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

In order to be considered for this Maths Teacher role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children
• Previous Maths teaching experience
• Experience of delivering engaging lessons in the Mathematics curriculum
• Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
