Job summary

Reed is seeking a Maths Teacher to educate and support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in a modern SEND environment. You’ll help pupils build confidence, develop abilities and achieve meaningful progress in a well-resourced school.

You’ll join a specialist team including psychologists, therapists and teaching assistants, with full induction, ongoing training and clear pathways for career progression.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status and be able to teach Maths to pupils with SEND.
• Experience teaching in a SEND setting is desirable.
• Ability to engage and inspire pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths to children and young people with SEND (Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEMH).
• Support pupils to build confidence and develop abilities.
• Collaborate with a specialist team including psychologists and therapists.
