Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a secondary school based in Middlesbrough, seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to inspire students across KS3 and KS4. TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Middlesbrough, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The school is seeking a passionate educator who can deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and encourage students to develop confidence in their mathematical abilities.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher from January 2027 on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, marking and assessing students' work, monitoring progress and maintaining excellent classroom management.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Mathematics curriculum
