Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a qualified Maths Teacher for a permanent role at a secondary school in Newham. You will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills.

We welcome experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with QTS and a maths specialism. You will join a supportive Maths department, with ongoing CPD and career progression opportunities, and a dedicated recruitment consultant to support

Qualifications

• QTS with Maths, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths and ability to deliver curriculum-aligned lessons.

Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Newham
Start Date: January 2027
Salary: £35,000–£55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is currently recruiting a qualified and passionate Maths Teacher for a permanent position at a secondary school in Newham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a dedicated department and contribute to students' progress and achievement.
