Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees. The role is full-time, long-term, and covers a staff absence with start ASAP. You will predominantly teach KS4 Maths, contributing to strong GCSE outcomes.

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, manage a significant KS4 timetable, and work within a supportive Maths department. The position offers competitive daily rates and weekly PAYE payments.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and teaches Maths at secondary level.
• Experience delivering Maths up to GCSE standard.
• Confident managing classes and building positive relationships.
• Passionate about helping students achieve strong GCSE outcomes.
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 and handle a substantial KS4 timetable.

Veritas Education is recruiting a talented Maths Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees. This welcoming school has a strong community feel, supportive leadership team, and a commitment to ensuring every student achieves their best.

This is a full-time, long-term position covering a staff absence and is available to start immediately. The successful candidate will predominantly teach Key Stage 4 Maths, playing a key role in supporting students towards strong GCSE outcomes.
