Veritas Education is seeking a Maths Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Huddersfield. This role welcomes both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) dedicated to delivering high-quality mathematics education and inspiring students.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering KS3-4 math lessons, differentiating for all learners, monitoring progress, and contributing to a positive school community. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and commitment to raising attainment.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to supporting student wellbeing and achievement.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to supporting student wellbeing and achievement.
• An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
