TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Middlesbrough. The role starts January 2027 on a full-time, long-term basis, teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 with planning, marking, and progress monitoring responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have QTS (ECTs welcome), solid subject knowledge, and excellent classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment. PAYE pay and CPD opportunities are provided.

Formación

• QTS or equivalent, eligible to teach in the UK.
• Experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum and symbols.

Salary: £165 - £250 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Middlesbrough, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The school is seeking a passionate educator who can deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and encourage students to develop confidence in their mathematical abilities.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher from January 2027 on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, marking and assessing students' work, monitoring progress and maintaining excellent classroom management.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Mathematics curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Confidence in planning, marking and assessing students' workA genuine passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential
