Qualifications
- QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply).

- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum.

- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Newcastle upon Tyne, who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can deliver engaging mathematics lessons and support students in developing their confidence and understanding of the subject.
The school is looking to take on a committed Maths Teacher on a long-term basis, starting immediately. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning abilities
- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
