Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. in Bishop Auckland is seeking a confident Maths Teacher to supply flexible day-to-day cover at a local secondary school.

You will deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, while maintaining excellent behaviour and strong pupil progression in a busy learning environment. The ideal candidate will hold QTS with Maths, have solid KS3/KS4 knowledge, and exceptional classroom management.

Job Title: Maths Teacher

Location: Bishop Auckland

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £160 - £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Bishop Auckland that is looking for a confident and engaging Maths Teacher. The school requires a strong classroom practitioner who can maintain high expectations, build positive relationships with students and create a productive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher for flexible day-to-day work with an immediate start. The successful Maths Teacher will primarily provide Maths cover across the secondary age range, while also being confident providing general classroom cover when required and maintaining excellent standards of behaviour.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS / Qualified Teacher Status with a Maths specialism
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school environment
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering engaging and structured lessons
• A flexible, adaptable and professional approach
