Job summary

TeacherActive is proudly working with a mainstream secondary school in Leeds seeking a driven Maths Teacher to inspire students, build confidence in numeracy, and create a positive learning environment where all pupils can reach their full potential. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE preparation, following the school's schemes of learning to drive progress.

QTS with Maths specialization is required; ECTs welcome.

Qualifications

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Leeds. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher who can inspire students, build confidence in numeracy and create a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a driven Maths Teacher on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Maths Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including preparing students for their GCSE Maths examinations, delivering engaging lessons and following the school's schemes of learning to support student progress and achievement.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)


• Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4 / KS4


• Strong subject knowledge of the Maths National Curriculum and GCSE examination requirements


• Excellent classroom management skills


• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons


• A positive, enthusiastic approach to teaching and supporting student development
