Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a qualified Maths Teacher for a mainstream secondary school in Leeds. The role is long-term with an immediate start, teaching across KS3 and KS4 and preparing students for GCSE Maths. It offers PAYE payroll with market-leading pay rates and an attractive referral scheme.

You will join a dedicated consultant team and will benefit from CPD opportunities and ongoing support throughout placement.

Qualifications

• QTS with Maths specialism (ECTs welcome).
• Experience teaching Maths to KS4.

Yorkshire and Humber/ temporary / £160 - 260 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Leeds. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher who can inspire students, build confidence in numeracy and create a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a driven Maths Teacher on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Maths Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including preparing students for their GCSE Maths examinations, delivering engaging lessons and following the school's schemes of learning to support student progress and achievement.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge of the Maths National Curriculum and GCSE examination requirements
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons
• A positive, enthusiastic approach to teaching and supporting student development
