Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a passionate Maths Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Ashford, Surrey, starting September 2026. The role covers KS3 and KS4 with KS5 optional, offering a long-term, permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor progress, and work collaboratively with the Maths department to raise attainment. QTS or equivalent is required, with an enhanced DBS on update service preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A passion for raising student attainment and achievement.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two recent professional references.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to work in a supportive school with excellent leadership and a strong commitment to student achievement.
