Job summary

You will gain a full year of hands-on classroom experience, supporting KS3 and KS4 Maths while observing experienced teachers and developing key skills needed for progression into Maths Teacher Training.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to become a fully qualified Maths Teacher.
• First Class or 2:1 degree in Mathematics or a strong Maths-related subject.
• Strong GCSE Mathematics results.
• Strong A-Level Mathematics results.
• The confidence and ability to work with young people.
• A genuine ambition to progress into Maths Teacher Training.
• The right to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Spend a year as a Maths Teaching Assistant in a secondary school.
