Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking Maths Graduates with a UK university degree and a solid understanding of the UK secondary Maths curriculum to work as Teaching Assistants, Maths Intervention Tutors and Cover Supervisors in Smethwick and surrounding areas.

These roles offer part-time, flexible and longer-term opportunities within a secondary school setting, with the chance to gain valuable experience before teacher training. Flexible hours and regular support are provided.

Qualifications

• Maths degree from a UK university.
• Strong understanding of the UK secondary Maths curriculum.
• Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and accessibly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one Maths support.
• Working with small groups of pupils.
• Delivering targeted Maths interventions.
• Supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• Supporting GCSE Maths revision and booster sessions.
• Helping pupils prepare for GCSE examinations.
• Building positive relationships with pupils from diverse backgrounds.
