Are you a recent Maths graduate with a passion for education and a desire to inspire the next generation? A thriving secondary school in Chorlton-cum-Hardy is seeking a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, support pupils with varying abilities, and explore a career in teaching, tutoring, or education.
Supporting Maths teachers in delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Providing targeted intervention and 1:1 support for students who need a confidence boost in numeracy
Assisting with exam preparation, homework clubs, and in-class activities
Helping to track pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Building positive relationships with students and encouraging a growth mindset
A recent Maths or related STEM graduate (2:2 or above)
Passionate about education and helping students overcome barriers to learning
Confident communicator with strong numeracy skills
Patient, enthusiastic, and eager to gain school-based experience
Previous experience working with young people (in schools, tutoring, mentoring or volunteering) is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
