The Role
As a Humanities Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with class teachers to support learning across a range of subjects, with an emphasis on history, geography, and topic-based curriculum areas. You’ll be involved in delivering small group interventions, assisting in whole-class activities, and encouraging engagement and enthusiasm for learning through creative and engaging support. You will also provide 1-2-1 support where required and help raise overall attainment.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate in History, Geography, Politics, or a related field, who is considering progressing into teaching. You should have a strong academic background, good communication skills, and the ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm in pupils. A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learners of different abilities is key.
