IEG in Stamford invites applications for Assistant Head of Faculty - Maths. The role supports leadership of the English and Maths Faculty, driving curriculum development, high-quality teaching and assessment to keep students at the heart of everything we do.

We seek an experienced teacher with strong leadership, collaboration and a commitment to continuous improvement within Further Education. The role includes leading on QA, staff development and deputising as required.

Qualifications

• Substantial teaching experience with a positive learner outcomes track record.
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating curriculum delivery and driving improvement.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration and innovation in FE.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing development and improvement of maths provision.
• Lead curriculum teams to deliver high-quality student experiences and outcomes.
• Monitor performance against KPIs including recruitment, attendance and achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum planning to meet local, regional and employer needs.
• Support quality assurance processes including SARs, QIPs and inspection prep.
• Assist staff development, coaching and performance management.
• Lead on quality assurance activities including internal verification and compliance.
• Deputise for the Head of Faculty when required.
• Teach within the curriculum area as part of the role.
