Job summary

TP Tutors in Bradford (BD18) is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Maths and English Tutor to support pupils during school hours. The role offers £25-£30 per hour on a part-time basis with Monday to Friday flexibility and ongoing consultant support, plus CPD opportunities.

The tutor will assess learner needs, tailor individual learning plans, deliver engaging sessions, monitor progress, and build strong links with pupils, parents, and schools.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring Maths and English.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners on a 1:1 basis.
• Experience supporting students with additional needs is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Tutors must also hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Child-only Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, with full guidance provided.

Tutors should be confident in building positive relationships, adapting their approach to meet individual needs, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding at all times. Tutors must also be able to effectively plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the learner’s individual needs, monitor progress, and adapt teaching strategies to support positive outcomes.
