TP Tutors in Bradford is seeking a passionate Core Subjects Tutor to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition in English, Maths, and Science to students in the Bradford area during school hours.

The role offers part-time hours, a competitive pay rate of £25-£30 per hour, and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant. A rewarding opportunity to help pupils overcome barriers and achieve academic goals.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners on a 1:1 basis.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

TP Tutors is looking for a passionate and dedicated Core Subjects Tutor to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to students in the Bradford area. All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

TP Tutors is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All educators are subject to safeguarding checks in line with Department for Education (DfE) guidance including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). This may also include an online search as part of our safer recruitment process.

All educators must complete our annual tuition training programme, covering Safeguarding, Prevent Duty, KCSIE, Allergy Awareness, and Child-on-Child Abuse Awareness. Tutors must also hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Child-only Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, with full guidance provided.

Many pupils supported by TP Tutors require tailored educational provision. Tutors should be confident in building positive relationships, adapting their approach to meet individual needs, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding at all times. Tutors must also be able to effectively plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the learner’s individual needs, monitor progress, and adapt teaching strategies to support positive outcomes.
