As a Maths Academic Coach, you'll provide targeted support to students across KS3 and KS4 who need help with key mathematical concepts. You’ll lead small group sessions and 1:1 interventions focused on building confidence, improving problem-solving, and preparing for GCSE exams. You’ll work closely with the maths department to adapt resources, track progress, and help close learning gaps, making a real impact on pupil outcomes.
You’re a maths graduate—or have a closely related degree—with strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills. You enjoy breaking down complex ideas and supporting learners at different ability levels. You may be considering a future in teaching or education, and you're keen to gain hands-on classroom experience. Previous work with young people—whether tutoring, mentoring or in school—is a definite plus.
