Marchant Recruitment is helping a high-performing secondary school in Richmond upon Thames recruit a skilled Maths Teacher. The post covers Key Stage 3 and 4, with optional Key Stage 5/Further Maths teaching for suitable candidates.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, monitor progress, and contribute to a collaborative department. A commitment to high standards and student development is essential.

Qualifikationen

• QTS or QTLS with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven track record of delivering strong outcomes at KS3/KS4 (ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged).
• Deep understanding of the National Curriculum and GCSE examination requirements.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5/Further Maths for suitable candidates).
• Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations (Edexcel / AQA / OCR).
• Monitor pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to departmental moderation.
• Support extra-curricular numeracy initiatives and STEM clubs.
