Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Maternity Support Worker to join our maternity team across mid and south Essex. You will assist qualified staff, help maintain a safe, patient-focused environment and support infection control and care delivery.

This role involves shift and weekend work, with opportunities to develop skills through training and support from the management team. Applicants should have healthcare experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills required.
• Previous experience in maternity services.
• Previous experience in healthcare.
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Performs clinical baseline observations
• Records and documents episodes of care in accordance with Guidelines
• Liaises with other departments and members of the multidisciplinary team
• Complete further training to add additional skills to your repertoire inc infant feeding support, phlebotomy, etc
