Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Maternity Smoking Cessation Support Worker to join the Maternity Treating Tobacco Dependence Service. This part-time role (22.5 hours per week) is based at Countess of Chester Hospital, Chester, offering a pro rata salary in the Band 4 range.

You will provide evidence-based behavioural support to pregnant women who smoke, conduct CO monitoring, support nicotine replacement therapy access, and collaborate with the Lead

Qualificações

• GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in health-related studies OR has relevant experience.
• NCSCT trained Stop Smoking Practitioner.

Responsabilidades

• Provide evidence-based smoking cessation support to pregnant women.
• Assess referrals and develop personalised quit plans.
• Deliver behavioural support interventions using a woman-centred approach.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Work with the Lead Midwife and maternity team to meet targets.
