Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Luton is seeking an experienced Maternity Operational Manager to provide clinical and operational midwifery leadership under the Senior Leadership team, ensuring the safe and effective running of the maternity unit across shifts, including nights and weekends.

The post holder will supervise staff redeployments, contribute to rosters, and support escalation processes to maintain high-quality care and patient flow within maternity and gynaecology

Competenze

• Essential: Registered Midwife with degree or masters qualification.
• Essential: Suitable post-registration experience at band 6 or above with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of inpatient pathways and ability to manage staff and patient flow.

• Develop workforce staffing understanding and rostering.
• Coordinate patient flow and bed management across maternity and gynaecology.
